2 mobile qbs

just an idea for a offensive system not neccessarilly for the bears. put 2 mobile qbs in the back behind the center instead of a rb and qb.  is there any rule against that kind of a system? if the qb is in danger he could throw to the qb on he other side of the field.  they would both be able to pass. i think it would probably be a good system.maybe the titans could trade for either vick or something like that. any thoughts on it Edit: quick mockup of the formation http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a186/cheeseman2us/formation.jpg

this works well...
in flag football. I can attest to that. Don't know how well it would work in the NFL.

You know when it would be a great idea? At the end of the game when you want to throw a hail mary pass. It would give your recievers a few extra seconds to get down the field. With a pass rush of 3-4, the 2nd QB won't be covered. Just spread them out, throw the overhand backward pass before getting sacked, and let the 2nd Q sling it to the end zone.

If...
if i was defending this alignment, I'd go dime and leave two atheletic DE's in.  Whichever QB slipped out would be shadowed by a DE, negating a pass that way.

Defense
There's nothing illegal about such an offense.  The problem is this: mobile QB's are never that mobile.  With Troy Smith and Vince Young in the backfield, teams could really lay off the threat of the run and play short zone coverages.  If the ball was handed off, it would be easier to stop than if a full-time RB was running the ball.  Plus, having a QB pass-protect is problematic for many reasons.
Pittsburgh did experiment with variations on such an offense with Kordell Stewart (cough, cough) and, later, Antwan Randle El.  However, they tended to be more of the trick play variety.
I imagine such an offense could have potential but it would take a lot of pieces falling into placely-first and foremost, getting two QB's as fast and elusive as Micheal Vick.  Or maybe one good mobile QB and an RB with an arm like LaDanian.

What about finding a running back...
Who had a really good arm?

Oh yeah?
I heard he had a game where he got more yards in the air than on the ground.  I can only assume that all his wideouts got seriously hurt trying to chase down his passes.

I know a RB with great arms: Thomas "The GUNS" Jones.
