Bears could rest players
It is highly likely that Brian Griese will see some playing time as early as this week at Detroit. The Bears will not shut down the team as Coach Smith believes there is still a lot to work on especially on defense, but some injured starters could be given the extra time off.
The names mentioned for possible time off are John Tait and Thomas Jones.
It will be nice to see Benson get a run at lead back. We really need to know what we have come off season.

And Jamal Lewis is going against Pitt!!!
Okay, sorry. I know no one cares. I'm just excited. $300!!! I was winning by five with 4 minutes left in the Cinci/Indy game and my cuz had Carson Palmer. I thought I was goner. Luckily, Marvin Lewis is an absolute horrible coach, and I no longer have any wonder why their team is so bad.
But yeah, I'm still excited.
Do what i did...

Does anyone know...
I'm looking forward to seeing what Benson can do given a whole game to work without jeopardizing the team's chemistry by starting a "running back controversy."

if the bears are smart...
would have no problem with benson and peterson splitting the running back slot; just want benson to get the greater number of carries, especially in the 4th quarter. also want to see 3 or 4 more snaps with hester at wr.
on defense, just stay healthy and vanilla. no reason to put anything on game film that is being saved for the playoffs. substitute as freely as the roster allows; all hands will be needed on deck before this season is over.

Let me guess: you're gutsy, feisty and have deceptive speed?

If by deceptive speed, you mean deceptively slow, then yes, yes I do.
