BEARS/LIONS- Game Thread
Bears are rolling into a the playoffs behind a new and improved Rex Grossman. Unless Coach Smith starts resting players this should be a walk.
What is the line on how close Williams will think the Lions were to 40 points?

Are you serious?
Grossman played quite well. The only reason Griese came in was to get him some reps. He didn't exactly do anything exciting and most definitely did not do anything that Rex had not been doing all game.

Of course I'm serious...
Grossman didn't play badly, but he didn't play well enough for us to win with the defense giving up 3 TDs.

You have to be kidding me...
Yes, Grossman missed Moose - yet Griese probably could not have thrown the ball that far.
Grossman played well. He wasn't perfect (he rarely will be), but he was more than good enough to win.

Next week's game
So maybe the Bears can send Favre into retirement by beating the Packers. Whatever his deal is, I like that the Bears will be playing a team that isn't going thru the motions (some of the Lions certainly were.)
