2006 Opponents

The schedule does not usually get released until April, but the official site has an article looking at all our 2006 opponents.  It includes series reocrds and what happened last time they played.

Miami Dolphins (9-7)
Series: Bears trail 6-3 but have won two straight.
Last meeting: Bears lost 27-9 on Dec. 9, 2002 at Pro Player Stadium. On a rainy Monday night in Miami, Ricky Williams rushed for 216 yards and 2 TDs on 31 carries, the most yards a running back has ever gained against the Bears. Chicago quarterbacks Jim Miller, Chris Chandler and Henry Burris combined to complete 11 of 32 passes for 101 yards.

Seattle Seahawks (13-3)
Series: Bears trail 6-2 and have lost two straight and six of seven.
Last meeting: Bears lost 24-17 on Oct. 19, 2003 at Seahawks Stadium. The Bears trailed 17-6 in the fourth but rallied to tie the score 17-17 on Paul Edinger's 40-yard field goal and Stanley Pritchett's 1-yard TD dive coupled with Chris Chandler's two-point conversion run. But Seattle won the game on Shaun Alexander's 25-yard TD run with :58 remaining.
