To say GM Angelo took his time in making some moves is an understatement, but when he did he made it count. The Bears came to terms with free agent QB Brian Griese on a five year deal.
The 31-year-old has completed 1,463 of 2,318 passes for 16,344 yards with 103 touchdowns, 78 interceptions and an 84.8 passer rating in eight NFL seasons with the Denver Broncos (1998-2002), Miami Dolphins (2003) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2004-05).
Although depth at the O-Line and a PR might have been more pressing, this is probably the most important move the we could have made this year.
