On Wednesday, Chicago brass decided to match the offer sheet that defensive lineman Israel Idonije signed. Last Saturday, Idonije signed an offer sheet with the Buffalo Bills.
"We want Israel back," said Bears general manager Jerry Angelo. "We feel that he's a young quality player who's still developing."
Idonije, 25, appeared in 11 games last season, registering 16 tackles and one sack on defense and six stops on special teams.
