Wow
With the schedule the Bears have you guys should win a lot more than that.
I made my NFC predictions the day after the schedule came out on the Cowboys blog site I post on.
I predicted the Bears would go 15-1 and represent the NFC in the SB next season, and I am not even a Bears fan.

If you guys get Leonard Pope in the draft and if Benson plays well, you guys will be very hard to beat whether it's Grossman or Griese at the helm. I'm the first to admit when a team has made all the right moves to get better, even if it is not my team.

maybe 12 - 4
And I got bad news for you Mr. I think that in order to go to the Super Bowl our Bears would have to beat the Cowboys. I think the Cowboys are going to have a great year.

As much
I'd rather play against Carolina in January than the Bears.
If you saw my diary, you probably noticed I had the Cowboys playing the Bears in the playoffs and the Bears winning. The reason why is because if the game is held in Chicago in January, I don't think anyone is going to be able to come in there and beat the Bears, especially if the weather is cold.

Believe me
It is ironic that the Bears have had trouble beating teams soundly in recent times.
I know it was over 20 years ago, but that 85/86 Bears team was by far the most dominating football team I have ever seen in my life. From opening day to raising the Lombardi Trophy, I've never seen a team crush its opponents so decisively in every facet of the game.
The Dolphins may have had an undefeated SB season with less regular season games involved, but I doubt they won them as convincingly as that Bears team did.

Well
I think we should be 12-4, maybe 13-3. It's hard to imagine us being as injury-free on the defensive side as we were last year.

28-3 is bad, but at least you didn't have to watch Montana float a prayer on 4th down over your 6'9" Pro Bowl defensive end's outstretched arms and see Dwight Clark stretch out and somehow pull that thing down in the back of the endzone against your best cornerback to win the ball game and go to a Super Bowl that you know your team would have won. All it would have taken is a sack or an incomplete pass and the game's over.
I'd rather see my team lose 28-3 than lose like that. At least with 28-3 you can start hitting the beers and thinking about next season during the 4th quarter, instead of needing a stiff shot of vodka to settle your nerves while you replay that catch in your head over and over.

I'm
That throw was a prayer though, Montana had scrambled completely out of the pocket on a broken down play and tossed it up in Clark's general direction because it was 4th down and he couldn't throw it out of bounds. Yes, it was one of the greatest catches of all time, Clark got up and got some great altitude and stretched his body out to make it too. Don't even try to tell me it was planned out, it was a prayer that worked. Staubach made a similar play against the Vikings at the end of a game once. The better team that particular day won.
There's no way of proving anything either way about that Super Bowl now, but you're crazy if you think Cincy would have beaten Dallas, and they obviously couldn't beat San Fran, who barely won against Dallas at home in the NFC Championship game.
