I am a bit under the weather, so I will do more updates this afternoon or tomorrow, but I wanted stop in to talk about the Bears teaching the rest of the league. See, in the days and weeks before the draft teams throw up a smokescreen to try to make other teams unsure of what they want to do. But few have done it to the perfection that the Bears did this draft.
Coming off another season in which they were one of the worse offensive teams in the league, the Bears had the fans, media, analysts and even their own players thinking they would be taking offense in this draft. With 6 potential TE targets, surely they would pick up one of them, but NO, NO, they just pulled the ultimate cover up. Instead they would continue to draft defense and special teams. Nobody could have predicted that.
Let the other teams take note.
