Not that they had any real chance of making the team especially at the lineback position, but yesterday the Bears released Justin Smith and Josh Dean.
Both players were allocated to NFL Europe. Smith played for the Hamburg Sea Devils and had 15 tackles and a fumble recovery, while Dean was on the Cologne Centurions roster and had 17 tackles and 1 interception.
