Around SBN: Chan Sung Jung Wins Thriller Over Dustin Poirier

Ready for Camp

Aided by the fact that none of their picks were in the first round, the Bears came to terms with their remaining two draft picks.  Both Danieal Manning and Dust Dvoracek are products of the Bears trading the #26 spot to Buffalo.

Terms of the deals have not been disclosed.

The Bears became the first team in the NFL to have all their rookies signed.

Bears' Front Office
Although you may not agree with all of their selections during the draft, you have to hand it to the Bears' front office.  They have done a tremendous job at getting this year's crop signed and in camp, and have done a good job of securing our core players for the future.  I'm optimistic about our chances to contend for the next several years...  What do you guys think?

a definite improvement
This is a much better development from a year ago when we weren't even sure if Benson would be signed by the start of the season. Now if Briggs and Jones would quit their bitchin'...

Also, what's been with Chicago management recently? The Sox, Bulls (Paxson = best. GM. evar.), and Bears all seem to have their schmidt together. Even the Fire management got a new stadium. We just need to get the Cubs and Blackhawks on board (HA!). Oh well, 3 of 5 (or 4 of 6 depending on your view of MLS) isn't bad.
