Done Before It Started/Dvoracek Gone For Season

The Bears placed two on injured reserve today.  FB Bryan Johnson is used to being there, so no big lose, in fact some wondered why they were keeping him at all.

Defensive tackle Dusty Dvoracek had other plans.  Dvoracek, the Bears third round pick out of Oklahoma, was making good strides until he injured his foot in training camp and will require surgery.

Other Bears News:

The Cleveland Browns have terminated the contract of OL Lennie Friedman, thus nulling the deal the Bears made.  I don't know if that means that Friedman reverts back to the Bears.

The Bears have released linebacker Dwayne Slay.

The Bears are sitting at 74 players, so they will not have to make any more cuts to meet the Tuesday maximum of 75.
