Mark Schlereth You're on Notice

I'm probably paying way too much attention to Bears coverage lately, but I did notice that Mark Schlereth of ESPN really has a problem with giving the Bears any credit at all. Not only did he pick against the Bears in thier first two games (I mean picking the PACKERS to beat us! Sheesh!), now he has railed against the bears again denying them any credit in the recent "FACT or FICTION." When asked, The Bears are the most complete team in the NFL right now:

Star-divide

Although they've played extremely well and have dominated their first two opponents, they haven't played a good team yet. Before they get anointed a great team, they have to play a good team. The Bears display a lot of positives, but they need to compete well and defeat a good team for people to take them seriously.

Now sure he says they played extremely well and dominated, but he also goes on to say they haven't played a good team yet. Dominating two teams that he picked the bears to lose to I guess isn't good enough for Mr. Schlereth to throw them some credit, or maybe I'm just being too sensitive, but Marky Schlereth you're on notice!

If I'm not correct
That was what they were saying last year until we played Carolina and then went up to Tampa and beat them.

Fact or Fool
It sounds like he can't admit to being wrong and so he keeps digging himself a deeper hole.
The Packers and Lions do suck though. The Vikings will be the best team they will play so far. I'm sure when the BEARS beat the Vikes people will still write that they haven't played anyone any good.
The thing to do is say screw 'em and not care about what some moron has to say.

Well we all know...
who he is picking in Week 4. He'll pick Seatle. I'm going to laugh when he picks wrong 4 times in a row.

I retract my previous statement
today on Mike and Mike, he picked the Bears. He thought Grossman needed to prove something to him. So he has the Bears back this time.

i have been really surprised with schlereth
last year he frequently came on the mac, eurko and harry show on espn 1000 and he was always on the bears side.  whenever i watched nfl live last year i could always count on him to have the bears backs.  i dont know what happened this year.  he was the only one to pick the pack, the only one to pick the lions, and he was one of like two to pick the vikings.  i wonder if someone here in the media said something or did something to him because this is the exact opposite from last year and its almost as if he has an agenda with the bears
