Oh What A Feeling!

Doesn't it just make you want to shed a few looking at this?

I am not sure how they decide home team.  Anybody know?  Is it by record or flip of a coin?

Tony Romo
Shouldn't he concede his Pro Bowl spot to Rex now that the Bears are Superbowl bound?

How many coaching vacancies are still open? Where will Ron Rivera end up? Dallas would be my bet.

Anyone know of a good place to put down some money on the Bears beating the Colts? They are 7 point underdogs right now...i'd sure like to win some money on this game.

parcells called it quits

I doubt they'll go after Rivera, they'll go for a big name or lackey. Bet they wish they had Sean Payton right now.

Romo is still better than Rex
Like I said before, if Romo played for the Bears, they would have went undefeated and would blow out the Colts easily.

Blah blah blah blah
blah blah, blah blah

SB Nation needs a "Terry" filter. It's old dude, we made the Super Bowl, your team didn't and we beat the Saints (handily at home like you guys couldn't). Go worry about your next coach.

hey
I'm rooting for the Bears to beat the Colts. My only concern for this game is Grossman as he's the Bears only potential weakness. If good Rex shows up, you guys are very tough to beat. If bad Rex shows up, the Colts will destroy you. Rex hasn't played bad in the playoffs, which is why you're in the big dance.
Better hope he has one more decent game left in him.

ESPN.com
according to them..Chicago is listed as the HOME team..not sure how this was decided? Maybe by the Pro Bowl last year?

Home team in SB
is alternated every year. NFC was home team for the first SB so SB XLI, the Bears will host since last season the Steelers were the home team.

DAMN!
Forgot one more question for the masses...

Will we see another Superbowl Shuffle after the victory? (Should they even do that? Would it cheapen the whole thing?)

Shuffle
The '85 Bears did their Super Bowl Shuffle like in November or December.  I remember getting the 45 for Christmas!

Didn't McQuarters
also do one back in 03?  It was called Going to Platteville or something like that.

I thought they just alternate home teams
by conference every year, otherwise I assume it's by record.

Wikipedia Link
Here is a link to Wikipedia that says we're the home team: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_bowl_xli

I think it just alternates between NFC and AFC. Last year the Steelers were the home team but chose to wear white. Hopefully the Bears rock the home Navy.
