of the San Diego powder blues, the alternative oranges are my favorite jerseys in football. Hopefully we get more than one game in them this season, the opening round of the playoffs would be a novel time to pull them back out...

and I'm no Illini. But since you asked (or didn't, but I'm taking it as my cue) I don't mind seeing the Illini come to Kinnick, since that's the only team the Hawkeyes can seem to beat this year.

your most precious mascot.

Funny thing is no one was complaining about Warriors and our logo/mascot was more like a Spartan Warrior. Then they just up and changed it to Golden Eagles.

A couple of years ago after losing out on a ton of donation money they tried to run a contest for a new name and of course Warriors got all the attention but they weren't going to let that happen. I think Marquette Gold or something won briefly and they just said that's it better to stick with Golden Eagles or some nonsense.

Jesuits got no backbones...
