CHICAGO BEARS VS. MINNESOTA VIKINGS-Game Thread

(5-8)
VS.

(7-6)

SITE: METRODOME
DATE: DECEMBER 17, 2007
TIME: 7:30 CST
STATION: ESPN

Along with both of my FF teams that were steaming along to the finals, they and the Bears run smack into Adrian Peterson and the Minnesota Vikings.  I'd like to think for the pride of this team and my FF teams the Bears can put the clamps on him, but I have my doubts considering the depleted defensive line we will be putting on the field tonight.

The Bears look to play spoiler to the Vikings who currently hold the rights to the 6th and final spot in the playoffs.  Sad as it sounds for the state of the NFC, the Bears, although unlikely, would still be in the play off race with a win.

Alright,
now can the offense do anything other than a FG?

The D looks
fired up.  That is about all the good I have.

Orton
looks rusty!!!! can't get in a groove. Greise could save this one. D is playin' decent. spc. teams are doing well. Play Orton after mathmatically out.

the nfc
is so bad they will almost never be mathmatically out. don't get so excited about this team's chances because they are playing a close one against a 7-6 team.

give it up, they are out.

i gave it up
half way through the season...doesn't mean we can't spoil the chances of others. thats a bad team playin'. but the Vikes aren't better

seeing
what orton can do is a lot more important to the bears than screwing the vikings playoff chances.

you
didn't see enough in the first half? he is 3rd string for a reason. next week everyone will be wondering what Leak is doing. play for pride not a draft pick.

yep
no quarterback has ever had a poor half and recovered to have a deecent career.  idiot.

wow
because i have an opinion you call me an idiot? i believe Orton has 11 games experience now. still the same mechanics as two years ago. i find it absolutely amazing how you feel that Orton starting the last three games is gonna let the Bears learn anything. no qb can have a legitimate evaluation in this offense. three games will not summarize the progress(or lack there of) he has made thus far in his career.

where
has this Urlacher been all year?

screens
i think the bears offense would be better tonight if they threw some screens...

how bad
did that pick look?

deep ball
threw off his back foot, lots of air under it... a little under thrown.

pretty much
like every int thrown in a pass to berrian: jump ball where he doesnt even bother to go for the ball

turner...
is disappointed the bears' last drive ended with that interception.  he thought that he had 3 or 4 more screen passes that he could squeeze in.
