Jeff Garcia to Chicago?

I just read this blogger who recommends that the Bears try to bring in Jeff Garcia next season.  Obviously he won't want to stay in Philly being a backup to McNabb.  I would be interested in him.  He played so well at the end of this season.

Jeff Garcia
sucks....

He also played horribly in Detroit and Cleveland and his last year in San Fran.

Anyway, have fun discussing it, but there's a 99/100 chance that Rex is our QB next year.

Are U Kidding?
In another post, I said make sure all options are explored at QB, if an upgrade is available. I didn't say the ghost of George Blanda should line up behind center.

Luckman
We'll have an open competition in camp between the ghosts of Luckman and Blanda. Maybe the ghost of Otto Graham would be willing to take a few snaps with the first team offense.

Jeff Garcia ???
How would he get any playing time? Griese who was gettting 5 million per season didn't even make it off the bench during any of Rex suckfests.

Rex
I would not give up on Rex so quickly, after all, he DID get the Bears to the Super Bowl! And look at the season won-lost record! If you guys had beat us(yes I am a Colt's fan)you would not even be thinking of getting rid of him.

blah blah blah
Apparently Rex had NOTHING to do with the four losses on the year. NOTHING. Not against the Patriot, the Dolphins, the Packers or last night.

It's not that the rest of this team is SO DAMN GOOD that they won 15 games. It's because Rex Grossman.

When he doesn't f**k up, they win. Plain and simple. They even win sometimes when he does eff up.

You can analyze the four losses all you want and even say it's just coincidental, but there is one common denominator in the four losses--Rex Grossman sucked in all of them.

Unless you guys plan on switching to the
West Coast offense, Garcia wouldn't be a good idea.
Go Seahawks!!!

i can't
believe we're even talking about Jeff Garcia.  He is more the product of a salvage job by Philly than any sort of talent.  Think Kordell Stewart.

Is Vick a free agent?
If this is true, bring him here.

Can Orton, low ball Lovie's contract, Grosman can't be signed for much longer- it's been 3 years
And bring in Vick.

LOL
Yes please bring in Vick, that way you can go 8-8 next season.

Matt Schaub
Have liked this guy for a while, and I believe his contract is up in July.

He'll be an RFA
Which means draft picks would have to change hands if Atl decided not to match.

Still, if the Bears see him as the QB of the future it might be worth some picks.

Speaking of Garcia

talk of Vikings, Panthers and Broncos being interested.

Please oh please be the Vikings.
