Worrell Signs With Miami

On a slow news day I always hope the Bears would sign somebody, not the other way around.

Safety Cameron Worrell has signed a two year deal with the Miami Dolphins.

I can't fault the guy, he probably has a better shot at starting over there, but he will be missed.

Along with filling in at safety when we needed him to, he was quite the special teams player.  With Adrian Peterson moving to our backup running back and less likely to play on special teams and losing Worrell, our special teams have taken a hit.

dude...
It's "losing", not "loosing". This is the third or fourth time I've seen it. Grab a dictionary. You're a 'professional' now.

No...
He is saying 'loooooooooooosing", you know, like Peyton Manning.

Dictionary?
Pretty brash dig on a guy's spelling coming from a "tyger."

perhaps covered elsewhere...
but wscr chicago also reported todd johnson signing with the rams. sure hope the bears have a line on some safeties, as brown is too risky and manning is too streaky.

first day, yes
first pick, no.  it'll be lb or offensive g/t.  it's just unwise (and the bears don't act that way anymore) to allocate their highest draft allocation to safety in consecutive years.  i still think pozluzny is who we'll end up with in round one, followed by one of the cluster of offensive lineman projected to go at the end of the first or beginning of the second with our pick acquired from the jets.
