Dan Bazuin Signs With Bears For 4 Years

There it is folks.  It's all done, but the Super Bowl winning.

The Bears have agreed in terms with 2nd round defensive end out of Central Michigan, Dan Bazuin.

"It feels great," Bazuin said. "Being able to get it done before training camp and before everything really starts to happen is really great for me and the organization.

"This is just another step in fulfilling a dream of mine to have a contract with an NFL team, especially the Bears organization. It's a dream come true and I can't wait to get out there and start training camp."?

There has been speculation that the Bears selecting Bazuin was for the purpose of replacing Ogunleye who as a much bigger contract.  Whether Bazuin is capable has yet to be seen.

Re: Darn...
...I was shooting for a credit.  Not quite sure what that would even mean since I'm new and all (of course, it appears that the "credit" thing is too...).

In any event, glad our GM doesn't suck anymore, in fact, the whole front office is just superb.  We have one of the best organizations in sports not just football.  I can't believe how nice that feels.

I'm primed and ready for actual news coming out of camp!

In my head the purpose of credit had two reasons
Firstly, just to get people involved.

Secondly, over a period of time I was hoping it could be something some people could point to to show how long they have been with the blog and how they have helped build it.

Signing everyone
Does this make us the only team to have signed all of their draft picks?

Honestly, I'm surprised it took this long to get Bazuin under a deal - especially after we signed Olsen so quickly.

Nonetheless, everyone will be in camp, so things are look very good heading into this year.
