Bears Cut 19
The Bears made their roster moves today, and put two on the IR, while cutting 19.
The notable players cut included Chris Leak, David Ball, Mark LeVoir, Tyler Reed, Anthony Oakley and Antonio Garay.
The rest of the players they cut included:
Running back Josh Allen, wide receiver Drisan James, defensive ends Copeland Bryan and Chris Frome, defensive tackle Tory Collins, safety Tyler Everett, cornerbacks Greg Fassitt and Tim Mixon, tight ends Fontel Mines and Brett Pierce, safety Andrew Shanle and linebacker Danny Verdun Wheeler.
The two players placed on the IR were
second-round draft pick Dan Bazuin and fullback Quadtrine Hill on injured reserve.
Bazuin is much like the Dusty situation last season, and is thought of kinda like a "RedShirt".
The one player I'm happy they kept was Mike Hass.

Absolutely
I am surprised they cut Garay. He was nice insurance on the D-Line.

I believe so.
They wouldn't owe the Bears anything, either.
