Tank and the 'boys
According to ESPN, Tank has signed a two year deal with the Cowboys. Hell, they took TO, i guess there isn't anyone they won't take.
"The former Chicago Bear visited team officials Monday night and hoped to have a deal in place by Tuesday afternoon. Although it is unclear what he can do between now and when he is reinstated by the league, the former Chicago Bear at least has a future employer."

interesting
When you're a bottom 10 defense in 3/4 categories, off the field issues don't look so bad. (yes I know its week 2)
even better
i hope tank puts his life in order, but i would hate to see him become a star in texas.
Hi all
Dallas was kind of forced into getting a guy who could play NT because of Ferguson's injury and shallow depth at the position. It was pretty much an insurance move on Jerry Jones part.
So what say you?

tanker
From above link, what gives?
I was wondering that, too.
The lawyer in me...
He hasn't played.
That's my devil's advocate and I'm sticking to it!
That would be horseshit...
Your vacation suspension...
I know
I wish the best of Tank but it does disappoint me a little to see him get swept up so quickly. Part of me believes that the only hope he has of turning his life around is by staying away from the NFL for a year or so.

That's an excellent point...
And what is he supposed to say?
Also what is the non-sense about Tank being a good player or "good enough to start on the best defense in the league"? The myth of Tank Johnson as a good player is proof that any publicity is good publicity. The only reasons Tank was a starter last year was because Alfonso Boone was the alternative. If he were on this team now he would've been the #4 tackle prior to Dvoracek injury.

agreed
He won't beat out Ratliff even when his suspension is over.
