Bears Power Rankings
Here is a list of the Bears power rankings.
ESPN: No. 20, down from No. 10 last week, with the following comment: "The Bears have lost late leads in all three losses. Are they unlucky or unable to protect a lead?" I don't know. Sportsline.com: Pete Prisco has them at No. 21, down from No. 12, but says he's hopeful for the future based on Kyle Orton's performance. SportsIllustrated.com: Dr. Z knocks the Bears down to No. 19 from No. 10, accusing them of "chicken football" on account of the squib kick. His point: "OK, [Jerious Norwood] broke one against you the time before, so you get your special teamers on the sideline and grab 'em by the throat and say, 'Cover, dammit. This is the ballgame.' … If you're going to go down, go down like men!" FoxSports.com: Adrian Hasenmayer, who I claimed was logical and understood Chicago sports fans the last time I wrote one of these posts, hasn't updated his rankings since last week. Maybe Fox found out about his logic and understanding of Chicago. Suspicious.

Does anyone know
what Mike Downey has predicted every week in the Trib? I may be mistaken, but I think he has picked against the Bears EVERY week, including the Lions game…
"There is not a better offense in America. Missouri has had 48 possessions and scored on 33 of them. The nation's No. 1 scoring offense has punted just five times and has yet to go three-and-out." Tom Dienhart, Rivals.com

I don't believe he has.
I don’t know for sure, but I don’t believe he’s voted against the Bears every time.
I'M A MAN! I'M 22!
Ahh, you're correct...
He picked the Bears over the Bucs…I like to think that it works if the columnists pick against them, after that Colts game haha…

I see you’re a Mizzou fan, do you go there or just a fan? My brother is an alum there so I root for them too.

I'm not too concerned
If our team (which has holes) was able to trounced OU, Mizzou will have to bring their ‘A’ game.
I'M A MAN! I'M 22!
I graduated from Mizzou in May...
…I am a nervous wreck about this Saturday…

i love direct tv shortcuts
just watched the atlanta game again, couple thoughts:
first half:
all this talk about how the bears almost won i haven’t heard anyone mention the 2 “should have been” touchdowns atlanta gave back with the dropped pass and illegal downfield penalty. that game should have been over at halftime.
tight ends thrown to 4 times.
no receiver seperation and not a ton of run blocking.
2nd half:
there would be no rushing yards without forte.
matt ryan is a fucking studd.
our defense gets owned on simple hitch series routes.
10 passes to the tight ends in the second half. they were definately wide open starting in the middle of the 4th quarter. all the receivers had much better separation the second half.
the bears had a double tight end set at least 80% of the time in the first half, it’s most likely more since some video wasn’t clear enough. the tight ends short were well covered and there wasn’t much seperation deep early.
I noticed that also on the Itunes "Follow Your Team" video...
Where they cut everything except significant plays… it ran something like:
Falcons pass for first down…
Falcons pass for first down…
Falcons pass for first down…
Falcons score…
Bears punt
Falcons pass for first down…
Falcons pass for first down…
Falcons pass for first down…
Falcons score…
Bears punt
