I really don't see how the Bears can lose this game.

When you look at the Lions roster, outside of their two big wide-outs, they really have nobody. Kitna is alright, but they really have a talent-less roster. Their RB’s are run of the mill, their O-Line is nondescript and their TE’s should never be heard from today. Their defense is pathetic and without Shaun Rodgers, who was never really in good enough shape to dominate anyway, they have no player that you need to gameplan for.
Forte should have a huge game and the Bears should win big. 31-16.

ESPN's fantasy projections

Had Forte with 135 yards and 2 TDs and Orton with 190+ yards and 2 TDs and no INTs. That sounds about right. I hope that at least one of Tillman and Vasher can go.

wait...

… so their best linebacker is better than the bears’ 3rd linebacker?

by big_lowitzki on Oct 5, 2008 12:10 PM CDT up reply actions

Don't know if you heard

but Vasher is denying getting surgery and is hoping to play today.

Tillman practiced on Wed, so he could also be in.

Has anybody seen the inactives.

Should be a great day for the Bears

One thing we have to remember, boys and girls, is that we’re playing the Lions. You can take Millen from leadership, but they’ll continue to play like he’s in charge.

Greise was the QB for Tampa when they beat us by throwing.

Tampa was just 3 passes short of setting a NFL record for passing against us that is what worries me for this game.

by beardown on Oct 5, 2008 11:33 AM CDT up reply actions

Ye all of little faith

Yes, we have injuries at key spots and the Lions have a chance to upset us.

This year, we actually have a good running back and their defense is ranked dead damn last. It will take a lot of things to happen for us to lose.
