McNabb Benched in Philly...
Might as well get this rolling now:
The Eagles benched Donovan McNabb after a poor 1st half Sunday, even though they are still trying to earn a spot in the playoffs. As Chris Collinsworth said after the game, the Eagles have made their decision, now they must stick it out with Kolb for the rest of the year.
Whattya think folks? Is McNabb in Chicago the way fate has intended? Has it really meant to be after all? What if he really only has a couple more years left in him?

Sadly
I don’t think McNabb can have that “Favre” effect on a team anymore… and turn an average team into real contenders.
In my opinion, the Eagles have a had a better team than us over the past two seasons, yet McNabb couldn’t make the difference.
I'm not going to even bother trying to update this sig everyday anymore... that's what the standings column on ESPN is for.

I didn't want him in the off-season to begin with
I sure as hell don’t want him now.
Unless he’s like, dirt cheap or something.

No, no, no, no
Please. Orton is good enough, all the QB we need. Unless he wants to be a back up. As I said today, McNabb could end up being the greatest first half QB ever. But hes too injury prone and too old for my liking.

Orton still has up side
If he gets a line and a receiver it could be on. McNabb is on the tail end of his career and needs at least 5 games a year off for injury.

A pre-injury Tom Brady couldn't get this team to a Super Bowl
McNabb’s on the tail end of his career and Orton’s right in his prime.

I say Orton
isn’t even in his prime yet. So we have good things ahead.
