pat williams - apparently out 2-6 weeks
his shoulder is jacked up - broken scapula. espn said he's out 2-6 weeks. so, it seems he won't be in for the last 2 games of the season. maybe that means "the burner" has a chance to run wild next week, though kevin williams is still a beast, as is allen. with two major running teams coming up, i'm slightly more optimistic about the chances the vikings lose out. though we still have to win 10.

I got banned from the norseman site for saying this...ESPN.news services December 3, 2008
In issuing the suspensions, the league reiterated the section of its policy that reads:
"You and you alone are responsible for what goes into your body. Claiming that you used only legally available nutritional supplements will not help you in an appeal. … Even if they are bought over-the-counter from a known establishment, there is currently no way to be sure that they contain the ingredients listed on the packaging or have not been tainted with prohibited substances …
“If you take these products, you do so AT YOUR OWN RISK! For your own health and success in the league, we strongly encourage you to avoid the use of supplements altogether, or at the very least to be extremely careful about what you choose to take.”
The NFL also said it sent two notifications about StarCaps on Dec. 19, 2006 — one to NFL club presidents, general managers and head athletic trainers and the second to NFLPA executive Stacy Robinson, who oversees the steroid policy for the union. That letter, according to the league, advised that StarCaps had been added to the list of prohibited dietary supplement companies.
I SAID NOTHING OUT OF LINE BUT I GUESS THEY CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH ! Lets show them what the Bears are made of and dissapoint them as usual. Go Kyle. Ball control and a dose of Forte. Rush him and pass to him along with the tight ends and WRs. Let em go Turner. No huddle and keep the defense off guard. Kyle CAN do it. It’s all about ball control and Kyle can do it. Play Bear defense and we are in it. Here and now. No Tommorrow. Anything less is expected. This is for all the the marbles. If you can’t get up there is tomorrow.

No
You felt that your “comments” were so intelligent and so insightful that you needed to copy and paste them to 3 or 4 different posts. (For your information, your comments were neither intelligent nor insightful.) You were warned about spamming, yet you felt the need to come back and post the same comments again to another different post.
So, you weren’t banned because of what you said. You were banned because you obviously don’t know how to follow directions or heed warnings that have been sent your way. . .not to mention that whole “violating the site’s terms of use agreement” thing.
Maybe WCG will be more tolerant of your whining and crying than I am, I don’t know. But if you’re going to whine, at least be honest with it. Of course, you told everyone in your first whine on my site that
By the way I am a Lions fan and could care less who won last night.
So I’m guessing that honesty isn’t something that you’re terribly big on.
So, if you want to continue whining, crying, and lying to people, there are 162 other SBNation blogs that you can feel free to do so on. You just can’t do it at DN any more.

This is true, yes
Even though obscenities can be fun sometimes. Particularly when they’re directed towards people like this that deserve them. (-:

Spamming?
How is quoting a reputable source such as a ESPN news release spamming? And as far as posting it to other blogs, it is my right to spread the information I have found. This information can be found at …..http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3740122 This is an unbiased article which also presents the Williams’ case but also contains other side which contains the facts I have listed above. Make me out as evil if you will. I don’t know the hearts of of these men. Maybe it was an attempt lose weight only. I do not to claim to be God. In this day and age one cannot be blaimed for being skeptical. I do know I may have jumped on these players prematurely. For that I apollogise (sp). Time will tell. Gonzo, I made some harsh remarks about your Viking beloved. A few beers and competitive spirit were the source of much I said. So my apollogies to you. I respect your views and now I hope you respect mine. I am sincere please take this as that. I am the father of a junior football player and these things trouble me greatly. Baseball. football, track, wrestling and on and on. 100% testing? I don’t know. Is that a violation of players rights? Is that the answer? I don’t know. It certainly can help. I guess the point is we must clean this up for their health and the fairness to the sports they are in.
