Bears could be eliminated before Monday
From the Tribune:
If the Vikings, Cowboys, Buccaneers and Eagles win their games, the Bears are eliminated.
Obviously our best shot is to win the division, but it would be nice if we could still hope for the playoffs regardless of the Vikings.
A lot of things have to go our way to get in - it's just disheartening to think that a Monday night prime time game in front of a nation wide audience might not have any meaning at all.
How bad do those 11 seconds against Atlanta seem now?

Decent shot
Dallas hosts Baltimore
Tampa hosts San Diego
Philly visits Washington
I’d say one of those teams could lose.

Yeah, but
it’s depressing that it’s come to this.

Maybe, but
all you ask is that you are still in it at the end. We are. We might not control our own destiny, but we are there with a shot.

Dallas won't lose
It’s the last game to be played at Texas Stadium so I’m thinking the boys will be pretty fired up for the game. Philly has the worst chance, unless the Chargers remember how to play football. Again though we wouldn’t be in this situation if we could’ve closed out a couple of games (ATL, TB, CAR)
If things came easy, then everybody would be great at what they did, let's face it.

Have you watched that Ravens defense?
It’s pretty ferocious. I’d hate to be Romo this weekend.

Especially
after such a close loss to Pitt last week

Exactly
Good point! I live in the Bmore area so I get to see them every weekend. They are very good on defense. This game is going to come down to whether or not the Ravens are smart enough to keep the ball out of Flacco’s hands and just run the ball.

my guess is Atlanta is our best chance for extended life
I don’t see Dallas losing.
Whatever “it” is, San Diego has lost it, and Philly is playing better as of late.
Atlanta needs to win in the Humpty Dump.

what da bears need
> For Division – they need minnesota to lose last 2 and da bears need to win out
> For Wild Card – they need atlanta to lose last 2
- they need tampa to lose last 2
- they need philly to lose at least 1 of 2
> If the above happens and philly wins against washington buts loses to dallas da bears and cowboys would steal the wild card spots. Or if philly loses to washington but beat the cowboys it would be da bears and eagles to run away with the wild card spots.
> Lets pray for da bears

we are screwed this weekend if . . . . . .
> minnesota wins and tampa wins
- We still have a shot at the wild card if minnesota wins and tampa loses and philly wins
- we would need all atl,tb, and phi to lose in week 17
- and of course we would need to win out
