Dr Z had 2 strokes
I'm just putting this out there for some of you who may not know. I was reading Monday Morning QB and was a little saddened to hear that Dr Z suffered two strokes last week. Peter King reported that he is doing well considering the circumstance. He also devoted the beginning of his column to some Dr Z memories.
Some of you may remember that I wrote a fan post about his waivering pick between the Bears and Titans and most of you ripped me apart for not letting the man change his mind. :) I wish Dr Z a speedy recovery and hopes he gets back to covering the NFL soon.
If he reads this blog sorry about attacking you for your picks, but get well soon so I can do it again. No hard feelings. :)

Quick question

King’s already doing memories of Dr. Z? That’s not a good sign.
Let’s hope the man has a speedy (and positive) recovery.
I'M A MAN! I'M 22!
I thought
it was kind of strange to be going back over the good times but he wrote that he was doing well and then he goes into the stories.
They even had a throw back picture of King and Z on there. So maybe we’re not getting the full details.
If things came easy, then everybody would be great at what they did, let's face it.
Mike Ditka
It was less a "remember the guy" thing
and more of a “this is why you should want him to come back” kind of thing to me.
I hadn’t realized he’d been around that long (or how relevant some of his older stuff was today).
Get well soon. Football writers are boring without him, I think.

Too bad neither of them
was a stroke of genius.
OK… I took a jab… couldn’t pass it up. The guy’s column has sucked for years.
Now, I’ll be kind and wish him and the redhead well.
I'm not going to even bother trying to update this sig everyday anymore... that's what the standings column on ESPN is for.
