Williams' Suspended Rest of Season - Bears Still Alive
The suspensions, which cover the final four games of the regular season, are without pay.
If the player’s team qualifies for the playoffs, he is eligible to return to the active roster on Monday, Dec. 29.

I'm looking for the Lions to possibly help us out like the Royals helped out the White Sox with a couple of wins against the Twins this year. Also, I don't see the Giants rolling over in Week 17 and they run 3-4 deep at running back and could still take that game.
As for not wanting them to make the playoffs, my belief is that every team should have a goal to make the playoffs every year. Not the cliche win the Super Bowl every year because that's obvious. But to give yourself a chance in January is all that I can ask for. Go to the playoffs and you never know what can happen; maybe Hester goes off on returns finally. We just gotta get a little help from other teams and handle our own business.

meh if only this came BEFORE Sunday night's game
but I guess that really doesn’t matter considering our defense just flat out sucked (cough more like Tillman cough). But this certainly keeps us alive
To see your idol player whom you have grown up watching be cast aside by his loyal organization can make even a grown man choke up...We'll miss you #34!

No Williams on the goalline
Probable TD.
No 99 yard TD pass.
Game over.
But it didn’t happen. And it sucks.

Vikings' remaining schedule
12/7 at Lions
12/14 at Cardinals
12/21 vs Falcons
12/28 vs Giants
With the Williamses out, I quite frankly don’t see the Vikes doing any better than 2-2 against those teams. Hopefully the Bears can capitalize on this opportunity…

I saw that the suspended players
Were going to file some sort of lawsuit or grievance or something so they could play out the rest of the season or until all this stuff about should they be suspended or not is sorted out.

I don't think they get to play
I think they filed but I think they’re still suspended. They just might get their pay out of it.

I take this back
They’re filing more than a grievance. They’re going to district court for an injunction so that they can play.

It's a moot point
The Vikings may only go 2-2, but I think the Bears will end up matching them and come up one game short in the division. I don’t think they’ll beat the Pack or Saints the way they’re playing right now.

I dunno.
Saints lost McAllister to this, too.

And McAllister has done what, exactly?
He has been largely ineffective this year and has even been rumored to retire after this year. Its not Deuce that scares opponents, it’s Drew Brees, who should feast on the Bears’ weak pass defense.

Injunction granted
They can practice this week until the case is heard. Nfl wants it resolved this week yet so Sunday’s game is still up in the air.
