I have no idea

How you guys can play so badly and somehow escape with a W. I want my Vikes to EARN the North so next week should be interesting.

Earn?

You should have earned it by beating Atlanta.

Don’t know us for winning, our guys fought hard and pulled it out lucky or unlikely as you want it to be.

waaaaaaaa

earn it by winning more games. if the vikings win the division while tied with the bears what did they EARN? they win on a technicality.

all this talk and the vikings are tied with the bears in wins. you guys act like they’re 12 game winners. sounds like those preseason picks went to your heads.

Vikings have a

Top 3 running back if not the best. They have a very good O line, they have an above average defense. They have gotten good QB play from Ferotte and TJ of late, yet they are still just 9-6.

The Vikings haven’t earn a thing. With the troubles the Bears and Packers have had, they should have won the division running away, but didn’t. They choked as per usual.

huh?

Good qb play? Really?

Ferotte has a 73.7 WB rating this year, and started the majority of their games. Jackson was awful to start the season and then got benched. He has been quite good though over his last three starts.

I would hardly call that good QB play.

What's confusing about that?

“of late” is of importance here. He’s not talking about earlier in the year.

On a further note

I was watching this game with my close friend, a huge Bears fan, and he was distressing something mad when GB lined up for that game winning FG. Before the snap, I looked at him and said something like ,“Why are you so stressed? The Bears are going to luck out and block the kick. They always do stuff like that.” Low and behold…How about you guys get that wild card so we can represent the North and rub it in the media’s face.

That's how we play football

Bad offense, good defense, great special teams. The players were just confused at the beginning of the season.

The “typical” Chicago Bears team is here and well again.

Uhh

So I’m just supposed to accept total ineptitude on the offensive front because its “Bears Football”.

Plus the D this year is not all that good (its middle of the road), especially with the money we are paying them.

I just wish this dumb stereotype of “Chicago Football” would die. The sooner we got over it, the better.

Well, keep bitchin about it then

At your rate, Lovie and Jerry should hear soon enough.

Great response

“Stop Bitching” its “Chicago Football”? Is that what your going for?

by 815Sox on Dec 24, 2008 8:19 AM CST up reply actions

No.

You’ve been bitching all yesterday and today. I mean, free speech and all, but I’ve never met a Debbie Downer quite like you.

What I’m going for is someone who won’t complain about everything.

I'M A MAN! I'M 22!

So laughing at the notion that this team plays anything similar to typical "Bears football"

Is whiny? There’s a difference between pointing out the obvious and being a persistent negative ass.

Vinny Del Negro interviewed for the job today. I mean come on! Nobody else thinks this is nuts?

Again, no

815Sox was negative all day yesterday and today….his post up yonder was when I finally said something.

How far exactly

is yonder?

Very far

I mean, that was a term they used in the 1940’s, right? You should know how far it is :)

I'M A MAN! I'M 22!

are you the temperment police?

why would you need to “finally” respond anyway?

by mike b on Dec 24, 2008 4:35 PM CST up reply actions

Not at all

I realize that we won ugly and didn’t deserve to win the game through three quarters, but is it worth two days of bitching about it? Reason why I said something was because it was getting old.

I'M A MAN! I'M 22!

debbie downer?

So if you get to attack him for being negative, do we get to attack you for your positive attitude?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with pointing out the many, many flaws on this team.

you should have made a bet with him

BCB Works Miracles: It saved my English grade!

by Chanman25 on Dec 23, 2008 9:04 PM CST up reply actions

Probably because

The Bears shouldn’t have to rely on blocking s field goal when playing against a young and bruised team like the Packers. We shouldn’t have been in that position at all.

by 815Sox on Dec 23, 2008 11:28 PM CST up reply actions

Kornheiser ruined the moment for a sec.

Gotta love the former UF standout Alex Brown with the star performance. And Urlacher should’ve done his giggle-laugh thing at the official while holding him by his collar.
