How did you get here?
Some of the recent comments in another Fan Post got me thinking about the history of the site. I am going to put together a few stats to post on it. In the meantime I just wanted to do a quick poll asking how you found the site. You don't need to drop the entire story unless you want to just a quick comment saying "Chicago Bears blog search", "Myspace", "From another SBN site" or however it was you originally found the site.
Thanks

There is a Chicago Bears Fanclub in Portland Oregon
Go figure. A local sports bar has a fan club, and it gets crunk on game day. A couple of locals told me about the site, but I have since learned that they aren’t members, just the occasional reader.

Hell
I can’t even remember how I came about this site. I know it was right after the Super Bowl loss though. I think I was googling something about the Bears and this came up. Looking forward to the draft again, that’s always a good time.

As am I
I love the draft. We have big shoes to fill after last years draft thread.
If we get anywhere close to those numbers I am going to have to run three threads for it just to keep them manageable.

WCG
you going to do another mock draft? That’s a blast also. I nailed my pick last year.

Without question
toward the end of the season we picked up a bunch of new users who seem to really be into this participation thing, so I am hoping we can do this without having people do 3-4 teams.

Last year...
…the threads really slowed down because there were so many comments in them. It was fun…

Well since I'm a big Bulls fan...
I listen to some Bulls podcasts every now and then and heard of Blog-A-Bull. I found the Gridiron shortly after.

How was breakfast? Unbelievable."

This was my path as well
Was BullsBeat your podcast too?

I found out about this place due to Blog-a-Bull as well

Bears Blog Search
I believe it was right after the Super Bowl. I had a different username before the #23. When the new site came out, I changed it because I didn’t like it anymore. I was Grizzly originally. But I later felt that was a stupid name. When I signed up I never planned to post.
Kick it to me... I'm open!

Pretty consistent poster over at BleedCubbieBlue
When SBN made the switch over to a universal board, thought hey maybe there is a Bears forum, and wallah!

yeah
the universal id was a good idea. I know it ticked some people off who lost their ids, but it makes it much easier and people are more likely to subscribe when they have one id and password.

I always wondered if I picked up users
from other sites. I saw the traffic coming from hashmarks quite regularly.

Found it through SB Nation
Unfortunately I live in Michigan so everything is about the teams “east” of Chicago. BCB and WCG provide my daily fix of all things Bears and Cubs.
