Where are the WR's?
Is anyone as mad as me that we're not seeing more from the WR that the Bears have on the roster? I mean are they that bad that they can't do any better than Rasheed Davis?
What is going on?
Earl Bennett, Brandon Rideau and even Mike Hass could do better than Davis and Lloyd? Really? If the Bears wanna make the playoffs or even win in the playoffs their going to have to address the wide outs. Is it too late? I mean this group is pathetic.
I guess I wanna know if it's just a matter that they don't know all the plays or that their not battle tested. By the way Bennett made a nice special teams tackle. Whats the deal because this needs to be addressed.

Are you serious?
Have you only just begun to watch this team? Considering that the trade deadline is long gone, yes, it is too late to do anything about our receivers. If the offense is going to roll is’t going to be because Forte continues his great play, Orton keeps hitting his tight ends and Hester has a couple of big plays a game.
well yeah it's too late now but they had the chance
during off week to work in Bennett. This just pisses me off. You shut down Forte you shut down the Bears. You pass on the Bears you score. They need to use all their assets if they wanna win.
I feel like the Bulls have been rebuilding for like 10 years......... oh wait they have!
Since we don't have any WRs
We decided to force Devin Hester to play WR out of desperation… and consequently turned the most dangerous return man in NFL history into junk. Congratulations Bears brain-trust.
I'm not going to even bother trying to update this sig everyday anymore... that's what the standings column on ESPN is for.

I'm pretty sure Hester's problems returning this year aren't caused by playing WR
He’s said he’s been overthinking. I thought it would have happened last year, but no dice.
It’s not the Bears brain-trust’s problem that Hester runs east and west now. Yesterday was the first day I saw a good return from the man. And then he went back to his usual self.
I'M A MAN! I'M 22!
I think that he felt comfortable with knowing what was happening with his blockers
the past two seasons. Idonje and Ayenbedejio were amazing special teams players and both are gone. Players form chemistry and know what each other are going to do. In some ways I think he is having a hard time reading his blocks and that is moving him more east and west. It also explains why it appears he is running into a pile. He may be used to blockers that open holes or guys are being driven back into his lanes.
He also gets armed tacked a lot this year which I don’t get and he loses his balance much easier. None of that can be attributed to WR either.
Kick it to me... I'm open!

Ayenbedejio was a huge loss.

That's the truth
He loses two of his best blockers and look at him now. At the same time, Brenden wasn’t worth 4 million bucks.
I understand that playing WR may take some energy away from his returning, but it’s like he’s trying to screw up. There’s no excuse for his performance this year minus that he’s overthinkin everything.

He is in a funk!!
Not only that but every time he gets the ball he is trying to make a touchdown instead of just trying to get a good return. He is trying to do to much. If he stops thinking so much it will just come natural to him like in the past.
As for using Hester as a wide receiver lets just say anytime you give the ball to him he can be dangerous. He is doing a ok job so far this season. He is the teams leading receiver with 39 receptions for 522 yards but lets face it we need some help. I would like to see some of these young guys we signed as wide receivers in. I think we have potential with Bennett and Rideau!!
Do not jump on the Bears organization...
…for turning Devin Hester into a receiver. First of all, everyone on this website wanted him on offense. There might have been a few that said no but if anyone here is going to jump on the Bears coaching for turning him to a receiver they are being very hypocritcal. Second of all, this is Devin Hester’s second year as a receiver EVER. Hester played receiver a little bit at University of Miami but didn’t really practice it day in and day out. He is still very raw. There are receivers who come into this league who have been practicing as a receiver from the first time they stepped on the football league when they were 12 years old and fail. Hester has barely played receiver in his life and has already shown the ability to get open and make catches. Thats the first part. Once that becomes more natural to him, you will start seeing more creativity and moves. The guy is still learning.
Junk?! Damn man. Have some patience.

in two or three years I'd say Hester could even become an elite WR
