On Monday the Bears also extended the contract of Alex Brown for two years. Brown previously a starter lost his job last year after a 12 sack season by Mark Anderson. Brown asked privately to be traded.
This is great news. Brown has consistently made the most out of his playing time. He has shown he is capable of the big play.
It is a little curious, considering he expressed he didn't like losing his job, unless Bears management has made some promises about playing time or being able to compete for the job.
