Super Bowl Diary

Since we need to fill the Diary with text you will be stuck with this Sunday football sermon.

I want to give thanks that this season will soon be over and I can soon put this miserable Bears season that started with great expectations behind us.

I also want to give thank the New York Giants for beating the Packers so that they are not in this Super Bowl.

I want to give additional thanks to the New York Giants for beating the friggen Cowboys. I really don't need additional reasons to hate the Cowboys, but before the game we were still talking Super Bowl and after the game Vasher, Tillman, Briggs and Harris were all injured which contributed to a few more losses.

So I now pray for the football gods to grant the Giants one more victory to end the Patriots perfect season.

Amen

P.S . If the Bears coaches had any balls they would not of started to play prevent defense with 10 minutes left in the third quarter and we would of beaten the Giants.

Well it looks like the football gods were with the
Giants.

Now what does this say about the 1986 Bears. I think they were the best team ever to win the Super Bowl, but I might be a little biased. If the Patriots had won the Super Bowl there is no doubt they would of been branded the best team ever to win a Super Bowl and with the perfect record would of surpassed the Bears.

Here's an article from a columnist from Minnisota comparing the best team ever.
