Bears Experiment With New Offseason Approach

I have a cousin who works as an equipment manager for the Bears who has been spying on the Bears front office for me and has finally got me some dirt.  Here's what I know so far:

Lovie and Jerry are indignant that they were going to do everything possible to sign Michael Turner to a huge deal! They are letting go of Rex and promoting Orton as the #1.  He heard them say he's cheaper and still wins games.  They will try to keep Briggs by giving him all of Rex and Bernard's money.  They won't need Bernard because they are going to run 80% of the time with Lovie and Ron Turner's run all day scheme.  Jerry believes that Turner/Benson will combine for 3,000 yards.

To do this the line needs some major changes.  Ron knows it, Lovie knows it, and Jerry knows it.  Kruetz and Tait are going to be the core.  Brown is as good as gone and it looks like Miller will be traded for a 6 rounder.

Jerry really believes that this draft is going to put his name in lights as one of the greatest drafts of all time, and one that will bring Chicago multiple Superbowl victories.  Here's the plan for draft day:

Round 1: OL
Round 2: OL
Round 3: OL
Round 3: P (since this will be known as the best draft ever, he said you have to give the pundits at least one thing to question)
Round 4: OL
Round 5: OL
Round 6: OL
Round 7: DE (Jerry believes that Mark Anderson was no fluke.  He said he will prove it this year)

Following the draft, they will bring all 6 OL to fight it out in OTA's and preseason.  They're keeping the best four and will make 2 of them starters.

Behind the resurgence of a great running game with Turner & Benson and a well managed game by Kyle "Handoff" Orton, the Bears will return and win the Superbowl.
