Around SBN: Kobe Bryant Isn't Up To Speed On Jeremy Lin, 'Linning'

Texans sign Chris Brown

This is getting rough. It really seems like the Bears aren't trying that hard right now. I assume Angelo has a plan. I'm just hoping we're all surprised by how good it is. With Chris Brown and Julius Jones gone, the two best options after Turner are gone. Does this mean the Bears are set on Mendenhall in the first? We'll find out.

Chris Brown
He would have been solid. He's quicker than Benson, which is what we need.

may be quicker
but i'm already worried enough about benson's leg to have to worry about which games chris brown will actually suit up for. the bad thing is, he never seems to have MAJOR injuries (a la grossman) but he is always bothered by something stupid like turf toe. no thanks.

injuries
agreed, no need for another injury prone player for a injury prone team.
