The CHIN in Chicago

What if we go 4-12, Which is a possibility, Do you'all think that a coaching chang whould be in order? Having a get in your face smashmouth style
of coaching and being in a weak division who just saw "Farve the Bear killer" retire, just might be the key to get us ove the top. He has had sucess in the draft on the offensive side of the football, unlike our past coaches, exempting Ditka. The Zombie Smith style of football just isint working, although he was a breath of fresh air for a little while. This is the black and blue division, Lovie/Jerry. No more patty-cake style of football. plz

Poll
If Lovie Smith gets let go after another disappointing season, do you think that mabey trying to bring back Cowher may be the sollution?

fucking hell
how many times are you going to post the same thing?

I don't remember the extension terms, but I know I have said I have seen enough of under prepared teams and complete lack of adjustment.

No way angelo cuts him out early, no way.

lest have a little patients
Cowher lost his first superbowl also, but the steelers didnt fire him, after down seasons, they stuck with him. And a 4 and 12 season? please. Not with our defense, it was banged up all year and we still won seven games. so why do you think it would be worse?

everyone
who keeps ripping on Lovie just need to shut the fuck up....Im sick of hearing it, he's a good coach and just because we had a bad year (which every team that loses in the Superbowl do) and everyone wants to throw him under the bus. If we finish below .500 this coming year then Ill think about being on that side, but just be quiet and stop your whining. We're not getting Cohwer, Ditka isnt coming out of retirement, Jimmy Johnson doesnt wanna come here. Patience is virtue.

Fact of the matter is if
the Bears disappoint again, that could cost Angelo his job.

Nobody could blame management if they got rid of Angelo for not being able to find a QB and or fix the offense. If a new GM is brought it, he'd likely want to pick his own coach, so Lovie and his guys would probably be let go.

On the other hand
Lovie's contract extension might in a way give Angelo some job security (in addition to Angelo's own extension). The McCaskey's aren't going to fire Angelo if that means a new coach and eating $10-20 mil on Lovie's contract.
