What the experts think

I know this is kind of out of the blue, but I saw this video and I thought I should put it on here. I find it interesting that almost everything they say, we have talked about here. Anyway, here's the link.

One-line diaries are prohibited on Windy City Gridiron. Give your diary a bit more thought, then give it another shot. If you have nothing to add to your proposed diary, then it probably belongs as a comment under another appropriate thread.

I don't know what his mock
looks like, but he has a big time crush on Mendenhall, so if we got him, he'd be good with it.

he seriously does
the other day I was watching him gush over mendenhall like a 12 year old girl would gush over zach efron. I was embarrased for him.

Mendenhall
We will NOT take This dude in the first round. RB is too deep in the draft and even though i really like Mendenhall i thinnk its foolish that we will waste another 1st round pick on a RB, given our recent history of first round RB's  (Salaam/Benson. We Will Tade down to get an OL and extra pick scince we lost a 5th round pick to Buffalo for Darwin Walker. We are taking a hard look at Matt Forte from Tulane. I was not impressed by his combine workout but if you watch youtube footage on him, it will make you raise your brow. runs with decent speed and power, but the best is the he can make people miss.

It is almost
just as deep on the offensive line.

What position do you see us taking then?

Draft
I think we will trade down, clady which some project we will take, will not be available at the 14th pick, I think Chris Willams from Vanderbuilt, is a good and safe pic cuz as i said b4 he known to be a finess LT, a little undersized at 315lbs. but, he has great footwork and hips also with good hands. Ive heard alot about the Bears lookinng at this guy, at his pro day and also did private workouts. Its also  been brought to my attention that the bears are taking a serious look at USC Guard, Chilo Rachal a self-described "Glass Eater" type player, what ever that means, lol. But as usual who knows what will happen, i just hope we dont get a what the hell thype draft. hope we get lucky and land players like Olsen will slide down the draft. also cross your fingers the we get some of those compasatory picks that NFL hands out, or what ever you call them. we havent recieved any scince 2003. fingers crost scince we need to make up a lost 5th round pick (Buffalo). do we get the 5th rnd pick from carolina for chris harris this year?

Chicago has one pick every round
and two in the third round(1 from SD last year). So I guess that 5th round pick must come from the Harris trade. It has been reported we may get up to 3 7th round compensatory picks for past seasons FA losses(none of those good 3rd round comp picks). I think we had better take an OT in the first and get an immediate starter. Im starting to lean towards Otah, who may be the best run-blocking OT in the draft. I think at this stage in his career Tait may be better off trying to block edge rushers on the left than the guy the RBS are counting on to push the defense off the line and open holes. I think OG Rachal as a glass eater(tough guy?) is another good run-blocker we could get in the 2nd round.
