Warrick Dunn released - Bear interest???

Warrick Dunn released - Bear interest???

Star-divide

Dunn seems to be pretty much exactly what we need, a change-of-pace back, with real productive experience, who would be willing to play "2nd fiddle" to the younger Benson. Link

More than likely unlikely
It's doubtful that the Bears would show interest in a guy like Warrick Dunn.  Could he help?  Yes.  However, it would be very uncharacteristic of the Bears to pursue a guy at that stage in his career.  At this point, it looks like Benson's competition for the starting tailback position will come from the first day of the draft.  Julius Jones would be the only FA I could even envision the Bears looking at.  I wouldn't say its very likely, though.  Also, it wouldn't be a signing that I would be crazy about.
