Ayanbadejo Will Be A Jet Or Raven

UPDATE: Ayanbadejo has chosen the Baltimore Ravens. The deal is for four years and worth $4.925 million contract. The deal includes a $1.9 million signing bonus.

Bears free agent special teamer is expected to sign with another club on Thursday. The two possible destinations are the New York Jets and the Baltimore Ravens. He is still trying to decide between the two.

Both teams have reportedly offered him a 4 year deal. I have no idea how close to the 2 million a year he will get, my guess is not very close.

New York is the more likely destination as he is looking to get more playing time at linebacker.

hes not worth more than 2 million, he's a fill in player for our special teams, we have plenty of LBs to fill him spot

lets do something productive

wcg i have a proposal. while a few tears rolled down my face when i heard brendon was going to another team, i quickly gathered myself and realized that i didnt care. so heres my proposal.

Given that most of the bears news up until the draft will most likely be boring acquisitions much like marty booker, I feel like you should start creating some rumors. Dont tell us when but just sprinkle them in. If theres a one percent chance that it could trigger a move worth while, I think all bear fans would appreciate it. you are in position to make a difference to our team, so please act on my request. if anything it would ignite some more interesting blogs, which would kill time until we starting developing hope before ota's.

Sorry DaNate, I was about to have a serious debate with you about the direction of our special teams given the soon to be departure of Brendon but chose to go in a different direction. Please understand.

have u seen how Hester was in Miami?, I mean he's all we need to keep on the special teams, trust me we'll be fine, theres a reason he never started at LB
