Why To Start Kyle?
Ok, Bears fans it is time to get innovative. We have two QB's with different skill sets. Kyle Orton will protect the ball and Rex can give you big points. It is so obvious. Start Kyle Orton the first half of every game. See how the defense does. If it is a low scoring game or we have the lead, then keep Kyle in there. If we get behind, yank Orton and throw in I'm going deep Orton. Let him wing that ball all over the place. Give him 4 wide receiver sets, let him call the plays at the line of scrimmage. Run 40% of the time and see if Rex can out score the other team. I know I should be an offensive coordinator. I would line Tommy Harris behind center on every third and one. Have you seen how fast that guy jumps the snap. He would be three yards down the field before anyone even moved.

No, no, no, no
If that post was a joke, then you’re a funny guy. If that post was not a joke, then I don’t even know where to start.

Post Script
Loved it when we were scoring 40 some pts a game vs. 13 with Orton. Gross man should be the starter unless he still cant take the ball from under center.

At least you are more innovative than Ron Turner
I often winder why more teams dont switch QBs when its obvious the first one isnt cutting it and his throws/reads are way off. It doesnt have to be a permanent demotion, just see if QB#2 can create a spark or get a different read on the defense.

Please No Orton!
Orton is terrible. Just because the team won when he played in ‘05 doesn’t mean anything. He sucked consistently. He is no better than “Bad Rex” on any given day. And Kyle will never have a day when he is better than “Good Rex”. At least Rex will occasionally play well.

Thanks
It was mostly a joke, but in theory it doesn’t sound bad. It would never work though. The best situation is for Rex to learn how to get control of his emotions, to check down more often, and be ready when the big play gets called. Oh yeah and a better OC.
Kick it to me... I'm open!

I agree
Rex would have more sucess if he checks down. Then when the defvence starts to bump at the line and safties play up then hell be able to go deep. Wich he likes
