News Roundup

Bears first round pick, Chris Williams, should not be affected by and I quote "short arms".

Tommie Harris, Brian Urlacher and Cedric Benson all no-showed OTAS.

Matt Forte ran with the second team, Rod Wilson started at MLB, Mike Brown started at free safety and Brandon McGowan started at strong safety.

After reviewing Robbie Gould's contract it turns out he is only the second highest paid kicker, falling a shade behind Josh Brown.

You know who else had short arms?

Tyrannosaurus Rex. And he was the most feared dinosaur of them all.

Was it Rod Wilson’s birthday or something?

I have no idea.

Maybe the plan is to have Jamar Williams practice at the Will and Okwo at the Sam.

On last year’s depth chart Wilson was Urlacher’s backup.

Okwo is also just back from a shoulder injury I believe, so maybe they used him sparingly.

No reason for Benson to not be there

That worries me a bit. You would think it would worry him! He wasn’t required to be in court and somehow he still can’t make it back to Illinois? He’s on thin ice already its ridiculous. Some guys never learn I guess.

Also I am not overly concerned about the Williams thing. The article lists players on very good o-lines with ‘short arms’ I think the press and outsiders like to overanalyze as JA said.

Lovie Smith-isms:
"We get off the bus running"
"Rex Grossman is our quarterback."

Also if Benson isn't there

and Forte is running second team, who is starting now? AP probably, right or would they give Wolfe a shot? And any word on the starting receivers? I’m guess since there was no mention its probably Bradley, Hester and Rashied Davis.
