Bears Lose Key Memeber Of Scouting Department

In my opinion the Bears have one of the best scouting departments in the league.  That starts with Director of Pro Personnel Bobby DePaul and Director of College Scouting Greg Gabriel.

Recently an assistant of DePual, Morocco Brown signed with the Washington Redskins as their Director of Pro Personnel.

I know little of Brown other than he was well thought of by the Bears and they did not want to lose him.  I recall reading at one time awhile back that they were trying to redo his contract, but I don't know if anything came of that.

So bad lose for the Bears, but not as bad as if we lose Gabriel whose name has been popping up a lot recently for positions on other teams.

Morocco Brown

That is one of the coolest names ever. I remember when he used to dispense street justice with Truck Turner and Willie Dynamite.

Funny you should say that

when I was talking to our Redskins blogger, I mentioned it was a name Fred Williamson should be playing with Pam Grier as the go star.
