It took the Bears a while 2 weeks to cut the first player they picked up.  David Faaeteete, a defensive tackle out of Oregon, was released by the Bears .

The reason listed was that they were looking for something different.  That was probably the nice reason.  If he was tearing it up regardless of how he was doing it, he would still be on the roster.
