TOMMIE HARRIS SIGNED!!

Tommie harris just got a four year extension. The four-year extension is worth $40 million in new money.  We’re also told that Harris will earn $27 million over three years, which will make him the highest-paid defensive tackle in the league Now all we need to do is clear up this urlacher deal, sign Hester, and find a qb. Well and hope that Forte and Williams aren't bust, and Mike Brown stays healthy.

18 million

guaranteed. I guess that’s one thing checked off the to-do list. Only 483 more things to do to get back to the SB.

Richest Contract in Bears History

About time. Now its onto Urlacher, Hester and the rest of the draft class. Too bad Harris insisted on being a free agent before he turned 30, but hey I guess it avoids a future Urlacher problem. I see the Bears rewarding him well in 2012 before FA.

Lovie Smith-isms:
"We get off the bus running"
"Rex Grossman is our quarterback."
"...and we'll go from there."

This needed to happen…

Now we need to get things done with Urlacher and Hester and everybody that needs a new contract should be happy.
