--Adrain Peterson opened with the first team yesterday.  I am assuming this is just because Kevin Jones isn't cleared to play yet and they didn't want to just give it to Matt Forte, who also saw time with the first team.

--Rookie Earl Bennett shined on Day 1 and was praised by Coach Smith.

--Ricky Manning started with the third team defense, another sign the Bears are looking to deal him. 

--Corey Graham started at CB instead of Charles Tillman who was excused.

--Recently signed first rounder Chris Williams started working with the second team offense, but John Tait started on the right side with the first team.  Regardless of whether Williams is able to win the starting left spot, it seems Tait is read to go at right.
