Hanies's Job To Lose, Bears Cut Hill
One of the minor battles going into training camp was who would be the Bears third string QB. In most camps this is not a battle to pay attnetion to, but the Bears have a bit of recent history in needing to play their third string QB, so we pay a bit more attention to it.
Almost from the get go it seems that Caleb Hanie has had the upper hand and now the Bears have cut his competition. The Bears have let go Nick Hill.
The report is that he was let go due to injuries at the TE spot. I haven't seen any reports yet of what or who those injuries are to.

TE injuries?
Don’t the Bears have a few guys named Olsen, Clark, and Davis? Do they really need a 4th TE in camp? Non-story!

I know he wasn't good but
I feel for Nick Hill, the odds were against him from the get-go but he was trying to make with his ‘hometown’ team. Hard to root against a guy like that but I guess it now is down to Haine. Next Romo?
Bold Prediction: Orton will be the starter in week 1.
