Kevin Jones Is Good To Go

Kevin Jones, who many believe will take over the role of Bears starting running back, will see his first action in this Thursday's pre season game.

He will still start the game as backup, but with a line that is letting everybody through, they may need to get him significant time in the next two games to have him ready come the regular season.

Kevin Jones is a more than capable starting running back, but cannot stay healthy.  If he can the Bears will find themselves with a very deep running back corp which they may need to off set a possibly very poor passing game.

not too much playing time i hope. he just had surgery in january. i think he is comming back too early as is. put him on the pup for a while so his knee can heal proper so he can have an impact on the bears running game for possibly 3-5 yrs.

Problem is, what if he doesn't pan out that long?

He’s only signed to a one-year contract. If he doesn’t work out, we need to know so we can hopefully address it in the next offseason.
