Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

Game Threads

I know it is a short notice, but I still wanted to throw it out there and see what you guys came back with.

Pretty much every blog on SBN has something of a similar game thread.  You show the teams helments or logos, you give the date, time, place and channel and maybe you throw in some stats and a brief preview.

I was hoping to offer something different, something unique to WCG.  Maybe it is just in the format or look or maybe it is a change of the info that goes up, but if you have any ideas or would like to take a shot at sending a design format or something in, I'd be interested in seeing it.

Thanks

I don't know how you've done it in the past....

But… how about adding some all-time records vs opponent. And maybe a certain stat of the week? Maybe a fantasy outlook for the game? Maybe using some stats from footballoutsiders.com to show our advantage and weakness for the matchup.

Just suggestions of course.

You could start a game prediction thread on Friday… making a weekly contest out of it. The winner gets to create the game thread for the following week.

I'm not going to even bother trying to update this sig everyday anymore... that's what the standings column on ESPN is for.

I like the idea

of us posters predicting the score and then at the end of the season the person with the best record gets bragging rights.

We can do this

Anybody interested in drafting out some guidelines on this and keeping track of the standings?

I'm going the TMQ route here...

Home team wins, 24-17.

Book it!
