Bears Looking At Willie Anderson
I don't know what the Bears currently think of their offensive line situation, but it appears that they are not 100 percent content with it.
The Bears along with the Chargers, Giants, Bucs and Rams have contacted the agent of Bengals recent cast off Willie Anderson.
Anderson by name alone would be an improvement over Fred Miller, who still has not decided what team he wants to join.
The Bears also get a little bit of a boost with Terrence Metcalf returning to practice.
The Bears need to do something to bolster this line and Anderson might be a good start.
On a side note fellow recently cut Bengal Rudi Johnson is reportedly going to join the Detroit Lions.

Hopefully the Bears think there is room for improvement on the o-line
and there’s still no word about the Bears working out/contacting Chris Simms’ people?

Listening to Marvin Lewis give a press conference
on why he cut those guys sure helps me understand why the Bengals are so messed up. The guy has no class at all and is bashing probowlers like Willie and Rudi for no reason at all. No wonder Ocho Cinco has a problem with that guy. He’s a hard person to respect. Sounds like Baltimore has the inside track, but I sure hope we get him!!!

At this point
Especially on the O-Line, I’ll take anyone we can get. Getting a proven player like Anderson would be nice, but it does sound like the Ravens might have him locked up.

Anderson
Would be a very smart pickup for the Bears, but something tells me he’ll want to stay in the division. He gave 12 years to the awful Bengals, and that ended so badly.

Anderson
I hope Anderson’s agent, Terry Bolar, pushes hard for the Bears. I think we could use him.
