Frerotte named Vikings starter
Who is this guy? It says he is a veteran, but I have never heard of him. Espn broke the story just a little bit ago.
This had officially, if it weren't already true, made the NFC North the saddest QB division in all of the NFL. Aaron Rogers is pretty damn good, but he has only started 2 games and he is FAR better then "Ortossman", "Freroackson" and who is Detroits starter? Kitna? Who cares, they shouldn't exist anyways. Thoughts?
Frerotte has completed 54.2 percent of his passes during his career for 19,134 yards and a 74.3 quarterback rating. He's 37-44-1 as a starter.

You haven't heard of Gus Frerotte?
He is a journeyman quarterback that has one of the most hilarious highlights of all time. he once ran in a touchdown and then proceeded to run over and headbutt the wall of the stadium. The headbutt was so hard he gave himself a concussion and was out for the rest of the game. Thats Gus Frerotte. He has a decent amount of starting experience and is a poor man’s Brian Griese if not basically the same as Brian Griese.

Sorry Berrian....
Looks like that “QB stability” that he went to Minnesota for didn’t turn out as great as he thought. Meanwhile Lance Briggs has looked as good as ever this year so I’d say it worked out well for the Bears.

I'd say not yet
I think somebody is trying to buy time or is trying to save their job. Ferrotte could bomb out or get hurt, so Jackson is likely there all year, but why do you ask|? You are interested in him coming here?

I'd take him
and let Pep Hamilton mentor him LOL. Two weeks into the season and everybody’s superbowl pick for the Vikings is lookin very bad indeed.

One of the following is true:
1) Jackson is DONE. Not necessarily in the NFL but with the Vikes. This is where his confidence goes down the tubes. He’s still young and he had the whole offseason to get it together but he didn’t. Either the coaches gave him the hook too early or too late. Either way his confidence is most likely shot.
or
2) Brad Childress is DONE. This seems almost like a desperation move before week 3. Your team was a chic Super Bowl pick you start 0-2 the fan base gets on you because you have been a .500 coach your entire time and this is the best team you’ve had.
UNLESS: Benching Jackson gets a Grossman in ‘07 return where he came back and wasn’t terrible any more that is the only way this ends up working out. The other option is that both Childress and Jackson are done in Minnesota and this is Childress’s last gasp for hope.

I'd go w/ both Jackson and Childress being done
All his talk about toughness and accountability when he first took the job really rubbed me the wrong way for some reason. I can’t wait to see him get canned.

Because you’re a Bulls fan and have had enough of the rhetoric?
