NFL Fines Charles Tillman and Jeremy Trueblood

Everybody knew there would be some fines after the Tampa Bay/Chicago mess that happened last Sunday.

Yesterday they leveied the first one which ended up being against Bears LB Jamar Williams after tauning a Bucs player after he layed him out.  He was fined 7,500.

The big going ons were Bucs player Jeremy Trueblood pasting a few shots Wale and then Charles Tillman throwing a few at Michael Clayton.

The NFL has decided and have fined each 5,000. ....What?

You get fined less for physically abusing someone than you do for teasing them?

ridiculous

I guess taking swings at someone and then also trying to choke them, and having that caught on tape is less offensive than making a Your Mom joke.

I watched that play over and over and I’d like to know when Trueblood was grabbed
in his false nuts. There wasn’t a pile, as he is the one that drove Wale to the ground
and then proceeded to wail on Wale.

Didn’t think there’d be a day the NFL penalizes its refs more than it does intentional wrong behavior.

Complete lunacy

This action by the league will create more of a problem in the future. Penalizing someone more for talking trash than physical violence is like the difference between stealing a pack of gum and grand larceny. Absolutely ludicrous!
